$15m Scandal: Patience Jonathan Accuses EFCC Of Hiring Mercenaries

The spouse of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience, says the four people who confessed to IRS evasion charges in the interest of the four organizations connected to her are hired fighters enlisted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. 

The ex-President's significant other expressed this in an announcement on Thursday by her media associate, Chima Osuji. 

She asserted that the EFCC exhibited four obscure people, who were not approved by the organizations' sheets to concede for the benefit of the organizations. 

She said it was a ploy by the EFCC to guarantee that her hard-gain cash was appropriated. 

The ex-President's significant other contended that the EFCC neglected to agree to Section 477 (2) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015, by not displaying to the court on Thursday any letter to demonstrate that the four people were approved by the organizations to speak to them. 

"This is a reasonable confirmation of the urgency of the indictment to pull down the previous First Lady and appropriate her well deserved cash. 

"It is an incongruity that it was the previous First Lady who went to court for the repatriation of her appropriated cash when she understood that the EFCC and its co-explorers were playing governmental issues with this issue after she had turned out freely to say that the said cash has a place with her and that she has all confirmation to demonstrate the wellsprings of her cash.
